Sahar is an MFA graduate in Fine Art and Philanthropy from the Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD). She is a multidisciplinary artist, documentary photographer, and community advocate with over 25 years of experience across the Middle East, South Asia, and the United States. She is a newly birth doula and birth photographer. Her work explores the complexities of identity, displacement, inner oppression, and sexual and emotional trauma, while centering themes of ally-ship, holistic growth, healing, empowerment, resilience, and truth. Both her creative and community work are rooted in a practice of alchemy—transforming deep psychological, physical, sexual, emotional, religious, and sociological wounds into pathways of reclamation and embodied expression.

She explores nuances of recovery from self-sabotage while also celebrating the genius of our resilience & transformations.

Now in her forties, her practice has deepened into an intimate, essence-driven imagery storytelling—on how we embody our emotions, identities, and humanity in the world, and revealing the raw, tender landscapes of our becoming.

In honoring the essence of our humanhood, she advocates for the immense strength it takes to hold space for life, love, and transformation—the way human does.
